The Career Management Services Center

The Career Management Services Center is the single most significant resource for Medgar Evers College students providing career-oriented activities.  Our services include workshops, events, coaching, recruitment efforts and other resources.  With a focus on career and post-graduate activities the CMSC offers numerous opportunities that assist students in their professional development and in achieving their goals.

Mission and Process

The mission of the Career Management Services Center is to prepare and develop students, through co-curricular programming, in obtaining career and other professional opportunities.

Career Management Services Center activities assist students with:

  • acquiring the skills necessary to compete in the world of work,
  • empowering them to be proactive with managing the development and planning of their careers,
  • making smooth transitions: from student to professional or when making a career change, and
  • encouraging the practice of life-long learning
