To become an International student at Medgar Evers College you will first have to complete an application and submit it along with your school records and a check or money order drawn on U.S. funds for the applicable processing fee.
You will need to request official transcripts (mark sheets or letters) from your secondary school and/or university that lists all the classes taken and the grades that you received.
Also, if you have taken any completion exams such as the CXC's, GCE's, West African Examination Council exams, SAT's or a TEOFL please forward those results as well.
First you must determine if you will be entering Medgar Evers College as a:
- Freshman (you have not yet attended university/college level courses), or as a
- Transfer (you have started or completed university/college level courses). Transfer students can be from a college or University within the US or outside the US. You may apply to enter MEC for the Spring (January through May) or Fall (September through December) semesters. Your deadlines are October 1st and March 15th respectively.
There is no tuition or financial assistance for international students. Therefore, it is necessary for you to make arrangements to ensure that you will be able to meet all of your financial obligations should you decide to pursue an education here in the United States.
