At MEC, tuition costs vary, depending on whether students are full-time (carrying 12 or more credits per semester) or part-time (carrying fewer than 12 credits per semester), whether they are   New York State or out-of-state residents. A New York State resident attending at MEC must file a certificate of residence with the college, in order to pay the lower New York State tuition fee. These certificates are available at county offices throughout the state.
