Ron Brown Summer Law School Prep Program Application Form

Ron Brown Summer Law School Prep Program Contract

Ron Brown Summer Law Program, now taking applications.
May 29th - August 3rd, 2009

For the past recent years, African American and Latino/a students’ enrollment in law schools has declined. The Ronald H. Brown Summer Law School Prep Program at St. John’s University School of Law prepares students for the challenges of law school, the LSAT and the law school application process. Through law school courses taught by actual law school faculty, internships with judges and lawyers working in variety of practice settings, such as the District Attorney’s attorney, Legal Aid, Law firms etc., and a comprehensively designed LSAT prep course, the Ronald H. Brown Prep Program students have an edge in the admission process.

If you are a low-income or first-generation college student or member of a group underrepresented in law school, who have genuine interest in attending law school, we will prepare you to become as competitive as the average law school applicant.

Tuition and materials are free and dormitory living space is available. Student must have a grade point average of 3.0 or better, have completed 45-75 credits as of May, 2009 are eligible. For applications, see Prof. Racquel Brown-Gaston in S 123-2 or contact her at 718-270-5129, racquel@mec.cuny.edu
