Important Registration Information

Please read the following messages completely before you enter the links at the bottom of the page.

Access to eSIMS, Blackboard, and EduTrac

Effective July 15, 2008, all CUNY students who wish to connect to eSIMS, Blackboard, and EduTrac will be required to do so through the CUNY Portal. This is a CUNY requirement for all students and all access through the various links on the Medgar Evers College webpage will only direct you to the CUNY Portal. Once at the CUNY Portal, please follow the directions to log in or to register and create a user name and password. If you have any questions or technical issues, please call either 718-270-4866 or 718-270-5132.

Once you have created your username and password, you will be able to access e-SIMS, Blackboard and EduTrac from one convenient location.

You will no longer be required to remember three separate usernames and passwords.

Access to Live@MEC student email account

As you know, important correspondence, such as policy announcements, emergency notices and alerts, event announcements, grades, course materials are sent to students through email. Effective immediately, all correspondence from the College including your instructors will only be sent to your Official CUNY Email Address. This is the only email that will be recognized by the University and the College.

Your new and official CUNY email address is: firstname.lastname@student.mec.cuny.edu
Your new password is: your date of birth, in this format: 19YYMMDD
After logging in for the first time, you must change your password.
