The Medgar Evers College Winter Immersion Program provides an opportunity for students to improve their basic skills and strengthen the proficiencies needed to pass the CUNY Assessment Tests. Students will have the opportunity to participate in tuition-free Foundation Workshops in Reading, Writing and Mathematics. Upon completion of one of the workshop offerings, students will retake the related CUNY Assessment Tests. Participation in this program does not guarantee CUNY test results.
Terms of Participation
Applicants must be Medgar Evers College Students or accepted for the Summer or Fall 2014 semester
Ensure that ALL STOPS (e.g., Bursar, IMM, etc.) have been cleared before the start of the program.
What are the Program requirements?
- Students are required to attend all class sessions of courses in which they are registered. Attendance is mandatory.
- Students are required to attend all supplementary workshops and activities as recommended by Program faculty and staff.
- Students may take only one (1) of the offered foundation workshops per session.
- Priority is given to freshman students.
