 Meet the Steering Committee 

As an essential component of the “Developing Networks Initiative” is a three-member steering committee. The responsibilities of the steering committee is to:

  1. Gather information from various community constituents to complete and submit the initial grant application

  2. Recruit and select an eighteen-member cohort to participate in the local Leadership Program

  3. M ake arrangements for working sessions to develop action plan

  4. Work with IEI facilitator and process facilitator to plan working sessions

May 2-4, 2003, IEI held a retreat at their Seattle, Washington headquarters to orientate organizing team members about their roles and responsibilities, and the grant initiative.
