The Dean's Message

Education, in general, is a life-transforming experience. A Liberal Arts education, in particular, places students in a strong position to succeed in college and in life as visionary and inspired agents of change.

The combination of studies in English Language and Literature, Foreign Languages, Geography, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Psychology, Communications, Music, Fine Arts, Performing Arts and Education provides our students with a solid foundation for personal development, self-fulfillment and sound preparation for creative leadership.

Faculty and staff in the School provide a nurturing and academically rigorous environment, using diverse teaching methodologies. Instructors tailor their teaching to respond to the specific needs of students who come from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds and who have different life experiences.
