The Dean's Message
Education, in general, is a life-transforming experience. A Liberal Arts education, in particular, places students in a strong position to succeed in college and in life as visionary and inspired agents of change.
The combination of studies in Communications, English, Education, Fine Arts, Foreign Languages, Geography, History, Literature, Music, Performing Arts, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, and Social Work provides our students with a solid foundation for personal development, self-fulfillment leadership, and future profession endeavors.
Faculty and staff in the School provide a nurturing and academically rigorous environment, using diverse teaching methodologies. Instructors tailor their teaching to respond to the specific needs of students who come from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds and who have different life experiences.
