What kinds of academic support services will be available?
The Program will provide Supplemental Instruction (SI) as part of all Foundation Courses.  SI is an approach to providing students with academic support in courses that are typically difficult for most students.  SI helps students to master the content of the course and develop and apply effective learning and study strategies.    Tutoring will also be available through the Academic Support Services Center.

Is there a cost for participating in the Program?
No.  All courses offered through the Summer Immersion are FREE.  Students are required to adhere to all Program requirements.

What are the Program requirements?

  • Students are required to attend the Summer Immersion Program Orientation and agree to comply with program policies.
  • Students are required to attend all class sessions of courses in which they are registered.
  • Students are required to attend all supplementary workshops and activities as recommended by Program faculty and staff.
